SMSGlobal was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2009 and also has an office in Dubai. It says it is 100% Australian owned, hosts messaging data in an ISO 27001-certified Australian data centre and serves more than 10,000 customers. Sending runs through its MXT web platform and APIs.

How it compares to Linq

SMSGlobal has no iMessage or RCS, so its channels overlap with Linq only on SMS. It adds MMS and WhatsApp, while Linq's WhatsApp is a separate beta API. SMSGlobal charges per message; Linq charges a flat monthly fee from $260 for Pro with no per-message fees.

Australian and New Zealand organisations that send alerts and reminders by SMS and want local data hosting.
