Messaggio is run by Messaggio Ltd, registered in Malta, with branches in Europe and CIS countries. It sells high-volume A2P messaging for notifications, OTPs and marketing campaigns. It says it connects to 500+ carriers and processes over 3 billion requests a month.
Costs combine a monthly fee per sender ID, a per-message charge by country and channel, and a platform subscription. A Viber sender ID costs 150 or 200 EUR a month depending on the country, which includes prepaid traffic. Per-message rates are listed by country, and Messaggio asks customers to confirm them with a manager.
Messaggio has no iMessage. Both offer SMS and RCS. Messaggio adds Viber, WhatsApp and Telegram, and sells to Europe and the CIS, while Linq's WhatsApp API is in beta. Messaggio charges per message plus monthly fees, while Linq charges a flat monthly fee from $260 with no per-message fees.
