TXTImpact is a business texting platform that Wire2Air launched in 2006. It combines a web dashboard for mass texting, keywords, surveys and a shared inbox with a developer API. The v2 SendMessage API sends SMS, MMS, RCS and WhatsApp template messages from one endpoint, with a field that picks the channel. It serves US and Canadian businesses and has no iMessage.
Plans are monthly credit bundles with no annual contract. API plans cost $5 (100 credits), $99 (5,000), $499 (50,000) or $2,500 a quarter with a dedicated short code. Platform plans run from $29 to $299 a month. An SMS uses 1 credit and an MMS 2, plus carrier fees. RCS adds $200 a month, a $200 setup fee and carrier onboarding fees. A free trial needs no credit card.
Linq sends iMessage, RCS and SMS from managed lines; TXTImpact covers SMS, MMS, RCS and WhatsApp but no iMessage. Linq charges a flat fee from $260 a month with no per-message fees, while TXTImpact sells message credits. Linq signs webhooks with HMAC-SHA256; TXTImpact sends a shared token header. Linq reports SOC 2 Type II, while TXTImpact says its hosting data centers are SOC 2 compliant.
