Blue Replies offers an iMessage and FaceTime API for developers and businesses. Production lines are dedicated phone numbers, each running in its own macOS virtual machine, and the docs say attachments are sent through BlueBubbles. A free sandbox lets you build against your own phone before applying for production, which Blue Replies reviews by hand.
The Sandbox is free with no expiry. It sends real iMessages, but only to your own activated phone and up to 5 verified contacts. Production is quote-based under the Enterprise plan; the pricing page says accounts typically pay under $0.01 per delivered message and lists a 99.9% uptime SLA.
Both offer iMessage with tapbacks, typing indicators, read receipts, effects, group chats and signed webhooks. Linq publishes its prices (Pro from $260 a month, no per-message fees), documents RCS, polls and an MCP server, and holds SOC 2 Type II. Blue Replies quotes production per delivered message, adds outbound FaceTime calls, edit and unsend, and documents a Node.js SDK whose npm package could not be confirmed.
Developers who want to test iMessage and FaceTime automation against their own phone before committing to a quote.
Blue Replies supports 36 of the 77 features compared on Linq Alternatives.
