Blue Relay is the hosted iMessage product of Crypton.sh, a privacy-focused telecom operated by Rinzler Labs, a company registered in Scotland. Crypton runs a dedicated iPhone and Apple ID for each line in its EU and UK fleet, and you send and receive iMessage from its Conversations inbox or the Crypton REST API. Numbers are offered in Czechia, Germany and the United Kingdom, and setup typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
Reply costs €89 per line per month and only answers people who text first. Full two-way costs €129 and adds outbound messaging through the API. Fleet costs €99 per line for 10 or more lines. A €29 setup fee applies to monthly and 3-month terms, prepaid terms save up to 18%, and the rate drops 5% at each renewal down to 85% of the starting price. There are no per-message charges.
Both sell dedicated iMessage lines at a flat monthly price with no per-message fees. Linq also offers RCS and SMS fallback, tapbacks, typing indicators, SDKs, an MCP server and a free Hobby tier, and states SOC 2 Type II. Crypton starts at €89 a month against Linq's $260 Pro plan and hosts its lines in the EU and UK. Crypton's API reference shows no webhooks, reactions or typing indicators for Blue Relay lines.
Teams in Europe that want a dedicated iMessage number hosted in the EU or UK for support, notifications or simple automation, and can work with a basic REST API.
Crypton.sh Blue Relay supports 20 of the 77 features compared on Linq Alternatives.
