Overview

Texto is an SMS platform for Australian small businesses, run by Floop Pty Ltd. It stores data in AWS Sydney, sends through licensed Australian carriers, is a member of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman and is an approved provider for the ACMA SMS Sender ID Register. It also sends to New Zealand.

Pricing

Pay as you go at 3 cents per SMS to Australia and 9 cents to New Zealand, in AUD excluding GST, with no monthly minimum. A dedicated number costs $15 a month. Volume packs go down to 2.2 cents per SMS for 1,000,000 credits. New accounts get 5 free credits. New Zealand sending needs a $100-a-month shortcode.

How it compares to Linq

Texto has no iMessage or RCS; it sends SMS only, to Australia and New Zealand, while Linq offers iMessage, RCS and SMS. Both offer an MCP server for AI agents. Texto charges per message plus a number fee; Linq charges a flat monthly fee from $260 for Pro.
