Unifonic started in Saudi Arabia in 2006 and sells an AI customer experience platform to enterprises and public-sector bodies in the GCC. It combines SMS and voice with WhatsApp, Apple Messages for Business (listed as Apple Messaging), Messenger, Instagram, web chat, push and email, plus AI agents trained on regional Arabic dialects.
Monthly plans, before tax: Connect at $499 (10,000 campaign messages over SMS, voice, email and WhatsApp), Engagement at $999 (20,000 messages, 5,000 chatbot sessions, one agent seat) and Intelligence at a custom price. Extra usage is billed on top.
Unifonic has Apple Messages for Business, where customers reach a business from Apple devices, but not iMessage from phone numbers, which is Linq's main channel. No RCS is listed. Unifonic includes WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, while Linq's WhatsApp is a separate beta API. Unifonic plans start at $499 a month with message caps; Linq Pro starts at $260 a month with no per-message fees. Both state SOC 2 Type II.
