Unipile is a unified API from a French company that lets software products connect their users' own LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram accounts, Gmail, Outlook and IMAP mailboxes, and Google and Outlook calendars. Each end user links an account they already own, and the API reads and sends on their behalf. Unipile says LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Instagram are reached by reverse engineering, while email, calendars and Telegram use official APIs. It does not offer iMessage, and an SMS and RCS API for Android phones is announced but not released.
Billed per linked account: 49 EUR a month ($55) for up to 10 accounts, then 5.00 EUR per account, falling to 3.00 EUR above 5,000 accounts. API calls are unlimited, with no per-message fee. A 7-day free trial needs no credit card.
Linq provides iMessage, RCS and SMS lines on numbers it manages. Unipile offers none of these today; it connects messaging and email accounts that end users already own, such as their WhatsApp number. Linq's WhatsApp is a separate beta API, while WhatsApp is one of Unipile's main channels. Unipile charges per linked account from 49 EUR a month; Linq Pro starts at $260 a month. Both state SOC 2 Type II and offer an MCP server.
CRM, recruiting, sales and AI assistant products that need to act in their users' own WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Telegram or email accounts.
Unipile supports 24 of the 77 features compared on Linq Alternatives.
