Zernio is a REST API for social posting, ads, inbox messaging and calls across about 30 platforms. Its iMessage product sells dedicated, Apple-registered US or UK numbers (or an email handle through the API) that send and receive through the same inbox endpoints as WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, Slack and social DMs. Zernio's subprocessor list names LoopMessage as the provider for iMessage sending and receiving. The changelog first mentions iMessage in September 2026.
An iMessage sender costs $200 a month, plus the connected-account fee: the first 2 accounts are free, then $6, $3 or $1 per account a month by volume. The iMessage pages say there are no per-message fees, while the general pricing adds an outbound message meter of $1 per 10,000 after 10,000 free a month across inbox channels from October 2026.
Both sell managed iMessage numbers with SMS and RCS fallback, and both hold SOC 2 Type II. Linq's Pro plan starts at $260 a month and has a free Hobby tier; a Zernio sender is $200 a month plus account fees. Zernio puts WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, social DMs and phone calls in the same API, while Linq's WhatsApp is a separate beta API. Linq documents polls, iMessage apps, Find My location sharing and payments, which Zernio's iMessage docs do not mention.
Teams that run social, WhatsApp or SMS messaging through one API and want iMessage in the same inbox.
Zernio supports 57 of the 77 features compared on Linq Alternatives.
