Overview

Gupshup is a conversational AI and messaging company that started in India and says it has served 50,000+ businesses since 2014. Its Conversation Cloud combines AI agents, campaigns, a no-code bot builder and a live agent console on top of a CPaaS layer for WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, voice, Instagram and web chat. It does not offer iMessage.

Pricing

CC Express costs $99 a month (INR 5,999 in India) and includes the WhatsApp, RCS, SMS and Voice AI modules with 1,000 AI messages. Channel messages are paid per message from a prepaid wallet. Enterprise uses a custom rate card and adds SSO, audit logs, an uptime SLA and SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.

How it compares to Linq

Linq sends iMessage, RCS and SMS from real phone numbers for a flat monthly fee with no per-message charges. Gupshup has no iMessage, charges a platform fee plus per-message rates, and covers more channels, including WhatsApp, Instagram and voice. Both list SOC 2 Type II, Gupshup only on Enterprise.

Best for

Large consumer brands, especially in India and other WhatsApp-first markets, that want AI agents and campaigns across WhatsApp, RCS and SMS.
