Inkbox (Vectorly, Inc., backed by Y Combinator) gives AI agents a communication identity: an email inbox, a public tunnel URL and an Agent2Agent address, plus optional phone, iMessage and Slack. iMessage runs two ways: a shared router, where a person texts "connect @your-agent" to reach the agent, or a dedicated line that can start conversations and group chats.
Extra SMS/MMS and call minutes cost $0.03 each.
Both offer managed iMessage with tapbacks, threaded replies, effects and group chats. Linq also documents adding and removing group members, group names and photos, polls, iMessage apps and Find My location, none of which appear in Inkbox's docs. A dedicated Inkbox iMessage line comes with the $167 Startup plan, while Linq Pro starts at $260 a month. Inkbox adds email, Slack and voice calls on the iMessage line; Linq's API does not place or answer calls. Linq states SOC 2 Type II; Inkbox names no certification.
Developers who want one identity per agent across email, phone and iMessage, starting free on shared iMessage.
Inkbox supports 45 of the 77 features compared on Linq Alternatives.
